Ed Stewart has been a Trustee since 2011 and is a Partner at the litigation law firm of Wheeler, Trigg, O’Donnell. His wife, Mary, is a retired litigator and full-time chauffeur for their two daughters, Sydney (12) and Shannon (10), both of whom love to act, dance, sing and perform!
When Sydney sought to elevate her performances from the family’s living room in Evergreen to a more formal stage, a family friend introduced them to the Colorado Children’s Chorale. Since 2008, Sydney has worked steadily from choir to choir and is currently in National Tour Choir. Ed has noticed, “the transformation has been amazing: from a kid with raw talent that thrived on being the center of attention, to a perfectionist who finds great satisfaction in the detail, discipline and love of music she has found in being part of something bigger than just herself.”
For Ed and Mary, the Chorale represents more than just inspiring musical performances. As a Partner at Wheeler, Trigg, O’Donnell, “we constantly stress our firm’s core values of excellence, professionalism and giving back to the community. The Chorale’s unwavering commitment to these same core values is amazing, and it is what drew me to serve as a Trustee. Well, that plus some arm-twisting by former Trustee, Jim Thomas!”
